Terms of Use
Last updated August 20, 2026
These Terms are between you and ski2 OÜ, the operator of ConnectADU. They govern use of the ConnectADU website, homeowner questionnaire, matching service, and appointment-booking tools. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
ConnectADU is a matching and introduction service. ConnectADU is not a contractor and does not perform, supervise, guarantee, or contract for construction work.
The service
ConnectADU allows a homeowner or authorized family member to submit project information, request an introduction, and book an initial conversation with a participating ADU builder. Completing the questionnaire does not require ConnectADU or a builder to accept a project or provide services.
Builder compensation and introductions
The ConnectADU match and initial consultation are free to homeowners. Participating builders may pay ConnectADU for qualified introductions. That payment does not make ConnectADU the builder, the builder's agent, or a guarantor of the builder's work.
The intended homeowner experience is one selected builder introduction. ConnectADU may contact you first to review or administer the request.
Your relationship with the contractor
Any proposal, site visit, design work, construction agreement, payment, warranty, or dispute is directly between you and the contractor. You are responsible for reviewing the contractor's license, insurance, references, proposal, contract, permits, and suitability before proceeding.
ConnectADU does not negotiate or execute the home-improvement contract for the contractor. You contract with and pay the contractor directly.
No project guarantee
A match, screening step, conversation, estimate, or appointment does not guarantee:
- that an ADU is feasible or lawful on a particular property;
- permit, zoning, utility, financing, or other approval;
- project price, schedule, availability, workmanship, safety, or completion;
- that a builder will accept the project; or
- any financial, tax, legal, medical, care, property-value, or investment outcome.
Builder checks
When ConnectADU states that a builder's license status or insurance documentation was checked, that means the stated record or document was reviewed as of a particular time. Licenses, insurance, personnel, business conditions, and public information can change. These checks are not an endorsement or warranty.
Your information and responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, use the service for a genuine project, and submit information only when you are authorized to do so. You may not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful or abusive content, impersonate another person, or use the service to harvest information.
Calls, texts, and email
Communication permissions are described beside the form at the time you submit it. Appointment-reminder texts are optional. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts from that sender. Your use of the site is also subject to the Privacy Notice.
Site content
Site content is general information, not construction, architectural, engineering, permit, legal, tax, financial, medical, or care advice. You may use the site for your personal project evaluation but may not copy, sell, scrape, or republish the service or its content without permission.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service and may update these Terms. The updated date at the top shows when the current version took effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
